| La Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias |
I had only been in
Valencia for about 24 hours, so I couldn't do and see as much as I had actually planned, but nevertheless I really enjoyed my stay there (especially thanks to my wonderful and lovely
hosts!). In the afternoon we went to see
La Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias, which is probably Valencia's most famous and important
modern tourist destination. The
complex consists of many buildings, amongst others
L'Hemisfèric (Imax cinema),
El Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia (opera house), and
L'Oceanogràfic (a huge aquarium). Later, we had a fantastic dinner and walked around the city at night.
