DUBAI: Second Day - Deira

On our second day in Dubai we visited the oldest part of the city: Deira. In contrast to the modern parts of Dubai, you can find more historical, multicultural and traditional places in Deira, such as the markets and souqs, Al-Ahmadiya School (the first and therefore oldest school in Dubai) and Heritage House (a courtyard house, which offers insights into Dubai's history and culture). After having crossed the Creek with an abra (water taxi), we started our walking tour at the Spice Souq, where you can buy among others a lot of great spices, tea, waterpipes and viagra (also for women! :D). Heritage House and the Al-Ahmadiya School were closed due to Ramadan, that's why we finished our tour in the Gold Souq and had some dinner afterwards.

DUBAI: First Day - Mall of the Emirates

On our first day in Dubai (we arrived on a Sunday at 5am) we first of all tried to catch up some sleep at the pool and went to the Mall of the Emirates in the afternoon/evening.
In the Mall of the Emirates you can find more than 400 shops, both Arabian and international ones (for example Forever 21, Bershka, Juicy Couture) as well as luxury stores including D&G, Lacoste, Versace and Dior.
One of the most famous highlights of the mall is Ski Dubai, an indoor ski resort.
Since we were pretty tired due to the flight and the fact that we hadn't slept properly during the night, we didn't spend much time in the Mall of the Emirates, but it's definitely a great place to shop, eat and spend time.

Can't Fool Me

Nichts besonderes, aber ich wollte mal wieder ein Outfit posten :)
So ging es nach Bonn, zuerst bei einem Freund etwas grillen, dann mit einer Freundin gemütlich Nachos essen und etwas trinken, danach mit weiteren Freunden bei einem Kölsch das Länderspiel gucken, wiederum danach Flunkyball spielen und nachts in meiner Lieblingsdisco feiern.
